THE GINGERBREAD TEAM
The staff team at Gingerbread House vary in age range and experience. They are dedicated and highly motivated; all staff are carefully selected for their professional abilities as well as their caring and friendly approach to parents and children. Over 75% of the Staff hold either an NNEB, B-TEC National Diploma or the NVQ Level 3 Qualification, or Full Degree/Foundation Degrees. We also employ more mature persons who are mothers and grandmothers themselves this we find assists our younger staff members, as more mature staff have the benefit if Life Skills. These staff undertake training towards a recognised full qualification, once their initial probationary period is complete. Gingerbread House is committed to investing in training for its entire staff team from managers down and has signed the “Skills Pledge” with the CWDC and Learning skills council. We feel that our ongoing professional development programme ensures that the staff members are kept abreast of all new developments and methods of childcare and teaching.
